

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health. WHO's mission is to promote health, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable by addressing health emergencies, promoting healthier lives, and ensuring universal health coverage. WHO provides a range of resources and services to support health research and product development globally.
This webinar will introduce participants to WHO’s research and development (R&D) resources and Coordinated Scientific Advice (CSA) service. Attendees will learn how to utilize tools such as the R&D Observatory, International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP), Target Product Profile Directory, and R&D data portal to identify research gaps, collaborate with stakeholders, and access funding opportunities. The session will also present WHO's CSA service which supports health product developers in optimizing study designs and preparing for pivotal clinical trials, and streamlining downstream assessment for pre-qualification and WHO guidelines.
