In recent years, there has been increased interest in fostering effective and mutually beneficial partnerships between life sciences companies and patient organizations. This module examines the evolution of patient organizations, considering past and current expectations and future opportunities for partnership. The primary focus is on the five key considerations of patient organization partnerships: WHY partner with patient organizations? WHO should you partner with? WHEN should you partner? WHAT is the nature of the intended partnership? HOW can the partnership be accomplished? Common challenges and real-life cases of successful partnerships will also be discussed.
